Measurement finishes in your browser. Only a handful of numbers are ever sent, and the original text cannot be reconstructed from them.
We do not just say "suspicious". We show how many praise phrases, whether there is any real-use detail, and what percentage overlaps another review.

Blocklists of "fake phrases" break the moment someone swaps a word. So we do the opposite: we look for traces only a real user leaves — part names, sensory detail, genuine complaints, situational context — plus structural overlap with other reviews.
No. Measurement finishes inside your browser. Only a few numbers used for scoring are ever transmitted, and the original text cannot be recovered from them.

Gifted reviews share a few tells. How the product was obtained is missing — no price paid, no reason for choosing it. Praise is spread evenly across feature categories. And when there is a complaint, it lands on shipping or packaging rather than the product itself.
In most markets, disclosure is required when compensation was received. If no disclosure appears and the tells above stack up, it may be undisclosed. That is a signal, not proof.
The clearest sign is the absence of sensory experience. A model has never held the product, so it cannot write "the motor is louder at night" or "one screw was loose so I tightened it". What remains is evaluation — "excellent quality", "a satisfying purchase".
Sentence lengths are unusually even, there are no typos or slang, and several reviews share the same sentence skeleton. We count those traces and turn them into a score.
No. Manipulated reviews almost always arrive as 5 stars, which means a high average is exactly where planted reviews hide best.
Read the low-star reviews first — genuine complaints have no reason to be faked, so they tend to be specific. Then check whether reviews cluster in a short window and whether their wording resembles one another. Both beat the average rating.
Only the platform knows that for certain. But the traces left in the text allow an estimate — the price actually paid, why this product over another, how long it has been used, what turned out different from expectations.
Text that lists specifications but contains no purchase decision more often comes from someone who received the item.
